We hope your weekend was restful. It’s hard to believe that fall break is right
around the corner. Our scholars have
been working very hard this quarter and it is such a joy to see them grow each
day. As we near the end of the quarter,
we will start checking for missing assignments.
For our distance learners, please review the comments in Google
Classroom for any missing assignments. Have
a joyful week!
XtraMath – Please make sure your scholar is completing
Xtramath at least 3 times a week.
RAZKids – Please continue to use this wonderful resource and
have your child read each night.
Academics
Spalding – Scholars will learn 18 new words. Phonogram test is on September 24th. Spelling test is on September 25th.
Math- Methods of subtraction that include using related facts
to solve a subtraction problem, number bonds with subtraction, recognizing that
a missing part means subtraction and counting back to subtract. Math Quiz is on
September 25th.
History – Continue with Ancient Mesopotamia.
ELA- Continue reading a beloved children’s classic, Owl At
Home.
Grammar- Continue discussing nouns. Grammar Quiz on September 25th.
