Welcome to week 7! We hope everyone was able to get some rest this weekend. We are quickly approaching the end of our first quarter. Please read the following information for important events happening this week.
DIBELS Testing
This week all scholars are
going to participate in a school wide assessment called DIBELS. DIBELS
stands for Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills. All distance
learners will be participating in the assessment this Tuesday, September 15th
via Zoom. On this day there
will be no synchronous learning. Google Classroom will have
assignments and videos for our online distant learners to complete on this
day. Our regular schedule will resume on
Wednesday, September 16th. Mrs.
Villalvazo will be administrating the assessment with each distant learner independently
over Zoom. Please make sure you are on time to your Zoom meeting. We will use our regular classroom Zoom link
to test all our distant learners.

All
in person learners will be tested in class.
Returned Work
Last week all in person
scholars went home with a blue folder that contained graded work. We ask that you review the work with your
scholar and go over any questions marked incorrect. Please keep all graded work at home, sign the
sheet stapled inside the blue folder acknowledging the work was reviewed and
return the blue folder to school.
Distance learners should have also noticed returned work being sent back
through Google Classroom. Some
assignments will have comments. We ask
that you review the comments and make note of any missing assignments and turn
in as soon as possible. If the work is
not submitted, you will not receive credit for the assignment.
