ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Students will learn 10 new words on Monday, 10 new words on Tuesday, 10 new words on Wednesday, and review on Thursday. the 30-word spelling test will be on Friday.
Math - We are completing the geometry unit this week. We will review the the concepts taught on Wednesday. The classroom review pages will be sent home in the homework folders on Wednesday. Review pages are not graded or checked for accuracy. They do not need to be returned to school.
- The Comparing Numbers unit will begin on Friday.
- I have several scholars who have completed their Xtramath beginning Addition. Way to go! Remember to have your scholar complete Xtramath at least three times each week as part of their homework.
History - We are finishing our Early American Civilizations unit this week. A "Friendly Notes" study guide is being sent home in your scholar's red homework folder today. The test will be on Friday.
Literature - Frog and Toad Together
Grammar - Pronouns
Poetry - "Merry Sunshine"
