Nov. 25th- Nov. 26th

1ST GRADE CONCERT - MONDAY DECEMBER 2ND:
The K-2 concerts have been scheduled for the Monday we get back from Thanksgiving break. Please see the Athenian Echo and music blog for details about times and concert dress.  The first grade concert begins at 6:00.  First grade students must be present and ready for rehearsal at 5:30.  PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD HAS GONE TO THE RESTROOM BEFORE ARRIVING! You may pick up your scholars in the court yard after the concert.  First grade scholars will have no homework that night.

I WILL NEED YOUR HELP:
After each concert, the teachers lead their students into the courtyard at the front of the church where parents can collect their scholars. The best way that you can help me is to  please be sure that I have visual contact of your child with you when picking them up.  If you are unsure if I saw your child with you, please verbally let me know.  Me seeing your child with you and/or you telling me, "Mrs. Moreno, I have [Lucy]," will help me in knowing your child is safe.  Thank you so much!

ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Handwriting focus which includes:
- correct pencil grip
- correct formation of letters and numbers
- correct hand placement on the paper
