EMERGENCY LUNCHES:
It happens. Sometimes students forget their lunches. Most of the time the scholars remember to tell us first thing in the morning that they are missing their lunch. That gives us time to for the TA to walk to down to the office and help our scholar call for a lunch. Though it rarely happens, sometimes the students forget to tell us about the missing lunch until lunch starts. The procedure when this happens is to call the parent and ask for them to either bring a lunch in right away or give permission for the child to eat an emergency lunch that the PSO provides for such situations.
ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Students will learn 10 new words on Tuesday, 9 new words on Wednesday, review on Thursday, and take the 19 word spelling test on Friday.
Math - The introduction to multiplication unit will finish up this week with a review on Thursday and a test on Friday. Friendly notes and the review will go home on Thursday.
Literature - Bargain for Frances
Science - Habitats
Poetry - Students are reciting the poem "My Shadow" this week. Recitations began today.
