Hi! The winter concert is tonight. Please see the Athenian Echo and music blog for details about times and concert dress. The first grade concert begins at 6:00. First grade students must be present and ready for rehearsal at 5:30. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD HAS GONE TO THE RESTROOM BEFORE ARRIVING! You may pick up your scholars in the court yard after the concert. Please be sure that I have visual contact of your child with you when picking them up. First grade scholars have no homework tonight.
ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Students will learn 10 new words on Tuesday, 10 words on Wednesday, and review on Thursday. The test on all 20 words will be on Friday.
Math - Last Friday we began chapter 9 - comparing numbers. On Thursday we will review the concepts taught in chapter 9 and the test will be on Friday.
History - Early Civilizations
Literature - Frog and Toad All Year
Grammar - Months of the year (Proper Nouns),
