Greetings families and welcome to week 2 of Distance Learning! Thank you for taking the time to join us at our Virtual Open House and Meet the Teacher events. It was so nice to connect with all of you. It has been a delight to see the eagerness of our scholars to meet their teachers, see their classmates and get back to learning.
Our weekly blog will be updated every Monday. Please read the blog on a weekly basis for
important classroom information and a look at what your scholar will be
studying.
The best way to contact me is through email. Please include your scholar’s name in the
email and copy Mrs. Villalvazo. Our
email addresses are listed below.

Zoom
Please have scholars ready with their materials, in a
quiet place and in uniform before their start time.
All daily live Zoom sessions will take place under the
same meeting ID and passcode. You can
find the direct link in Google Classroom under the stream tab.
Just a reminder to please make sure the Zoom display
name matches the enrolled students name to ensure our meeting room is
secure. Admittance might not be granted
if the teacher cannot verify the student is in their class.
Mrs.
Moreno’s Office Hours:
I mentioned that I would be
available for office hours this week. This time is designated for questions
that would benefit the group, tutorials to trouble shoot common technology
issues, Google Classroom questions or confirmation, and reminders. If
there is a personal concern or circumstance that you would like to share,
please email me directly and I can give you a personal response or phone call.

Attendance
During
this period of distance learning, attendance is required by state law for all
registered Archway Trivium East students. You will indicate your child's
attendance by their participation in live sessions and by acknowledging their
daily attendance through an attestation form in the Google Classroom. We know
not all families will be able to attend live regularly, and this attestation
form will be essential to mark that your child watched their recorded sessions.
If
your child will be absent, it is the
parent/guardian's responsibility to call the school attendance line
before 8:15 AM to report an absence by leaving a message.
