ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Students will learn 8 new words on Tuesday, 7 new words on Wednesday, and review on Thursday. The 15-word spelling test will be on Friday. Phonograms will be practiced daily and a graded assessment will be every Thursday.
Math - Addition through 10
- "Friendly Notes" will be sent home on Wednesday. Please keep the information at home to use as reference when helping your child with math.
History - Ancient Mesopotamia
Literature - Different Lands, Different Stories (Issun Boshi, Tom Thumb, Little Red Riding Hood)
- Story elements (characters, setting, plot)
Grammar - Common nouns and proper nouns (Quiz Friday)
Poetry - "I'm Glad" poetry recitations have begun this week.
