ACADEMICS:
Spalding - Students will learn 10 new words on Monday, 11 new words on Tuesday, and 9 new words on Wednesday. The review will be on Thursday and the 30 - word spelling test on Friday.
Math - This week's focus is on subtraction within 100. The students took an addition quiz last week which was sent home in today's homework folders. "Friendly Notes" for addition and subtraction will be sent home in tomorrow's homework folders.
Science - Geology and Astronomy
Literature - My Father's Dragon
Poetry - "There Once was a Puffin" by Florence Page Jacques
