FIELD TRIP:
The first grade fall field trip in scheduled for Oct. the 25th. Information and a permission slip are in your child's red homework folder. More information will come after fall break.
BLUE FRIDAY FOLDERS:
Please check the blue Friday folders each week. Going though papers and allowing scholars to teach you is another excellent learning opportunity!
SPALDING:
Starting this week, students will be learning 10 new words each day with a review on Thursday and a spelling test on Friday.
MATH:
We will continue to work on methods of subtracting numbers within 10. We will do a chapter review on Thursday and the unit test is on Friday.
SCIENCE:
The test on Matter is tomorrow. A study guide was sent home in the blue folders on Friday and we spent Friday and today reviewing.
This week, first graders will be studying electricity.
