Greetings 1A Families,
"Meet the
Teacher" was such a lovely time. I enjoyed meeting each of your families
and I look forward to getting to know everyone in this coming year.
I am so excited to start
the first week of school. I hope your little ones are also excited to join us.
Our first week, we will be getting to know each other, learning routines,
procedures, and the ins and outs of being a first grader. We will be building a
classroom of order and a culture of community and joy.
We will also be reading
Aesop's Fables, practicing and reviewing math concepts, learning and reviewing
phonograms, and begin our geography unit.
All of our classroom
supplies and consumables/classic books have been inventoried. If you are still
in process of gathering these items for your scholar, we do ask that you try to
have materials and books turned in within the first week of school.

I will be sending out
reminder emails next week.
Many parents are still
needing to enroll their children in xtramath.com.
Once you have completed enrollment be sure your child takes their placement
test. Once they have completed their placement test they may begin their
practice assignments.
As we prepare for the
first day please review the family handbook, pick-up and drop off procedures,
and uniform dress code. These items can be found on our school website. Below
