Our music concert was a huge success. I was so proud to see the culmination of hard work and diligence pay off as our first grade scholars demonstrated showmanship and musicality. I am certain everyone enjoyed watching. Please take a look at the week ahead.
MATH:
We continue working on our money unit this week. The best way to practice money with your child is to get a handful of coins and practice counting. :-) The chapter test on money will be this Friday.
LITERATURE:

SPALDING:
Since there is no homework tonight there are no new spelling words for today. Scholars will have a list tomorrow and Wednesday. We will have a 20-word spelling test on Friday.
SCIENCE:
We spent last Friday and today reviewing for the science test tomorrow. On Thursday we will begin our history unit on Westward Expansion.
